My laptop is going into the computer hospital, maybe for three days.  I can read e-mail on my phone, but not send.  However, I do have the iPod mini which, so far, I can turn on, turn off and charge!  Maybe this will force me to learn how to use it.  At any rate, I will not be posting on my blog until later in the week.  Love, Del-at-home

    Del, break out that mini ipad and start using it. You will love it. I can use one so I know you can! My 5 year old grandson has the one I bought him about a year ago! He has been using mine for 2 years! It would be harder to post on one because of the on screen virtual keyboard. But it can be done if you don't mind not having the keys like on a laptop! Just a word of encouragement! I know you can do it! Hugs, Karen

    I'll second what Karen said. I rarely break out the laptop, my iPad is so much easier!

    thanks to Cathy Kleeman's rec, I bought a logitech all in one keyboard/cover for my iPad that makes it very much work like a laptop. I loved it in Japan--very little space in my carryon, could keyboard (verb) instead of finger-poke, and didn't need to lug the laptop to Starbucks where there was wifi. Will be my go to for future travels. Logitech surely makes same for the mini.
