Hello! It has been a year today since I last posted, but I'm not sure that post was actually ever posted. Although it shows as such, there is a red "draft" showing. So, I will go back and see if I can post it now - a whole year later. I am hoping I can start blogging again, if not daily, at least on Sundays with a quilt from the TCQC; I have added some in the past year. The cause of my silence has been my health, which has deteriorated and requires a lot of doctor visits and procedures. I have had a few adventures, including a week at Empty Spools at Asilomar in February and I will post that at some point. Meanwhile, here is the latest addition to TCQC. although I purchased it over three years ago, it was traveling with a SAQA exhibit which ended this past January, so I have received it recently. Although I had only seen pictures of it, having it in-the-fabric shows me I made the right purchase!

"Finding Neverland #3 - Plums" Jan Soules 2021 32" X 36"
The white is a little whiter, but I cannot seem to adjust it with the editing tools.
I have seen a few of Jan's quilts since 2021, so she is accepted in more exhibits or at least is entering more. One of her pieces was at Visions in San Diego and I asked someont to take my picture with it because the colors I was wearing were so close to those of her quilt.

Oh, Del! How nice to hear from you! I’ve been worrying! Dottie
Good to see you and your sweet little dog.
What a wonderful quilt !
So good to see a new post from you Aunt Del! Hope all is well, I think of you often. That’s a lovely quilt, I love the purple!
Dear Del I am sorry to read that your health has been so challenging over the past year. I have missed reading regular updates from you. Your recent addition of the Jan Soules quilt for TCQC quilt is a dramatic use of beautiful colours. I am sure you enjoyed welcoming into to your collection.
It is good to hear you returned to Asilomar and continue to have adventures. All the best to you and your faithful companion KoKo, take care. Gayle
It's so nice to see a post from you! Those two quilts are gorgeous, and they're the bright colors that I love. You do go well with the second one! I'm sorry about your health issues, but follow the doctors' orders and get better.
