There are a couple of Catherine Kleeman's works in TCQC, I do admire what she does and like having it hanging on my wall. This one was part of the SAQA 2013 Auction last fall. I not only like the colors (my favorite yellow and blue), but the balance of the coil with the Xs. I think the quilting compliments the design, as does the tiny bit of hand embroidery.
It is nice that she puts information on the label so that prospective buyers of other works can reach her easily.

A very special little quilt both with color and design!
I'm also quite very partial to this color scheme. And the bit of hand work is inspired!
