On the Road, again 08-16-14

I am at Mary and Joe's in San Juan Bautista last night and tonight.  But there is a problem with her Internet service (Comcast) so I'm not sure this post will even appear.  I drive home tomorrow and will post again on Sunday night.  Or maybe even stop at a Starbuck's to post a message.  Anyway, I will be "talking" to you soon.   I am unable to upload any pictures - maybe tomorrow night.

Catherine Kleeman quilt in TCQC 08-11-14

There are a couple of Catherine Kleeman's works in TCQC, I do admire what she does and like having it hanging on my wall.  This one was part of the SAQA 2013 Auction last fall.  I not only like the colors (my favorite yellow and blue), but the balance of the coil with the Xs.   I think the quilting compliments the design, as does the tiny bit of hand embroidery.

It is nice that she puts information on the label so that prospective buyers of other works can reach her easily.
