Blueprint made by artists, stitched with embroidery floss.
This is so delicate. The embroidery stitches - stem stitch for the veins and seed stitch with single thread for the quilting - go through the batting, but then the quilt is backed with a solid fabric.
No label on this one - I will have to add one.
Linda tells me she has submitted a 12x12 quilt to the SAQA online auction that is printed from the same mimosa leaf, but on different colors.

I didn't realize that there was no label! I sent it off in a hurry, maybe too much of a hurry. I can print a label and send it to you.
