Amaryllis bulbs blooming and blooming and blooming and...…
Until this year I had never seen amaryllis bulbs dipped in wax and sold at Christmas time. Always before they came in a box full of soil in a plastic bag. I sent some of them to several different friends and we have all had amazing continuing blossoms since Christmas. The bulb on the left is on its third blooming stalk always three flowers on each stalk, but I have cut off the first fading flowers. It appears that the bulb on the right is ready to send up another stalk. AMAZING.

Not only amazing....they are beautiful! I too have never seen them dipped in wax...I'll look for them this Christmas season.
