Here is another of my quilts, made for the Monthly Mini of Surfside Quilters Guild in March 2013. It isn't a "series", but is similar to other Monthly Mini quilts I have made over the years.
"Summer Garden #2" Del Thomas - Placentia, CA 2013 19.5"W x 15.75"L
Fused and machine pieced, machine quilted. faced edge.
The flowers are cut from printed fabric, fused to background and then quilted.
I do like bright backs and this seemed to go with the front - in color anyway.
I think I got everything on the label, including a bird - weird bird. Sort of a heron.
