Just a reminder that the Fiberart For A Cause Reverse Auction is taking place this week. All of the money raised goes directly to the American Cancer Society, a cause I especially support because my husband died of a brain tumor in 1990. This auction is the major annual fundraiser for FFAC, so take a look, you might find some fiber art you love.

I have been loving your piece in the reverse auction.. I wish I had a little extra cash laying around to purchase it.. Really it is beautiful.. Also looking at your blog.. I love the photo of the blue heron. I live near a rookery in Wisconsin and observe them all the time.. I even did my journal quilt from last fall about them and how their nesting area is getting smaller because of all the houses being built around it.. Makes me sad.. I hope they keep coming back..
