The online Artful Home fundraiser to benefit fabric artist Anna Millea raised more than $14,000 to help defray the cost Anna's medical expenses. Update is available at:

Special post - Online Auction to be held 08-12-09

Anytime we can do something extra for someone who needs something extra, it is a good thing, in my book anyway.

Friends of artist Anna Millea have organized an online auction to help provide funds for her chemotherapy. She has no insurance to cover the cost. There are some lovely gifts on-the-block made by artists from all over the world and I hesitate to share the URL because I want to get there first!! The auction takes place on 08-12-09 and I thought I read that it started at 10am, but now I cannot find that reference.
