Froggy Health 02-23-24

Poor  Froggy!   He has been sorely neglected.  His back was so battered I had to remove it.  You can see why he needed a new back several years ago.  I have selected a fabric for the replacement back and hope to have it replaced soon.

His legs seem to be hanging on by a thread, but they are secure when KoKo plays tug-of-war with me.

You see the problem.  KoKo just doesn't want to let him go.

I have to hold on ti
ght and not stick the needle in too quickly, lest I sew KoKo and Froggy together.

Computer Problems 02-21-24

I tried to follow new instructions to access a site and have completely screwed up my laptop!  I'll try to see the Geek Squad tomorrow,

Meanwhile, here is our resident Mockingbird who sings constantly from the top of my neighbor's  coastal redwood tree, all times of night and day.  At least he isn't singing down my chimney.

More images from Pat Pauly class 02-19-24

On this holiday honoring POTUS we recognize all the Presidents, good, bad, and abysmal.  Hope  you enjoyed the "free" day.  Here  it rained off and on all day and is raining now at almost midnight.  We need the rain, but it does cause problems. The city has canceled the grand re-opening of the park behind our house.  I am very curious to see the larger part that I cannot see from  our backyard.

Here are some more pieces from Pat Pauly's students.  If you can identify any of  the creators, please let me know.  There  were a number of purple fans in the class.

But, of course, every color and variation thereof was used.

Some of the work will be whole cloth quilts, but I imagine most will  be  cut  up  and  used for piecing or applique.   Here are a few ready  to be quilted.

Enough for tonight.
