Yet another day in paradise 02-18-12
Snow on the local mountains doesn't last long with daytime temps in the 50's, but snow continues to be made at the ski resorts. Low night time temps help. Where I live, in the "flat lands" it is 40's at night and 60-70 daytime.
Sounds heavenly. Portland is into its "spring" rains -- you know, the ones that start about January 15 and drip until July. We had those nice few days in late January and early February and I was fooled again. Now it's just kind of gray and grungy.
But Jer planted some violas and primrose under the very dark forsythia, and that brightens things up a bit.
