Just looking through my photos for a picture of something else, I noticed these images that I am sure I have never posted. They are all original designs, machine pieced, machine quilted. In 2007 I belonged to a fiber postcard exchange group and was really into doing these little jewels. I may have a couple in my storage somewhere, but most were exchanged or sold.

i was also involved in postcard exchanges, started by Quilt Arts magareadazine, i think, in mid 2000's. from the original 24 spun off of folks that responded, some of us regrouped and and exchanged from all over the world and USA. i must have been in several spin off trading groups. We challenged ourselves with various ideas that yielded many original works of fiber arts .
what great fun to get art in your mailbox and entertain the hardworking post persons!
They were fun to make and receive. I have looked through them for inspiration several times. Techniques to try, color combos I didn't think up, or just to admire the originality.

What a delightful variety of quilts and styles! I recognized the Ruth McDowell influence immediately.
