I took these pictures this same week last year. I thought I might try Thermofaxing them, just to see how they might print. But I haven't found the time, yet.
They look like some place in the desert.

viewing them from the other side of the country where we get a lot of the white stuff-they look like the snow drifts on top of the sand at our beach. In winter, I can walk down and see this type of scene. When the icy fog clears I can see across the sound.
How's that for a different take?
Wonderful images! They remind me of the smoky atmosphere around here of late.
