I remember those early days when quilt auctions were very very new! I went to several and remember the auctioneer (but not his name!) who, as I recall, was married to a quilter. My guild (Wandering Foot in Sierra Madre) had several auctions, the first in 1985, and I was always happy when my quilts sold well!Good times.
