This variety of palm grows rather slowly and not terribly tall when mature.
Today I picked up my glasses with new lenses, so I can really SEE the details of the palms.
And, of course, I can now see my laptop screen. Hope this also improves my photos.

How tall was this tree? I am puzzled that you were able to get a shot from the top of it and get the lovely stones in the background. Beautiful texture and contrast.
It is maybe four feet tall. It has not grown more than an inch in the ten years I have "visited" it. It is a variety that doesn't grow very tall. Don't know the name.
