Monday Browsing 01-06-14

My computer is giving me big problems and will not allow me to post pictures on my blog - I've tried several different methods.  Sorry, I'll work on it.

Patchwork at Olympic games in Sochi:

Dosa is a Los Angeles company that uses hand woven and hand worked surface design fabrics in their clothing.  The section on Activities is particularly interesting.  The photo on the main page is a table covered with photographs of sky/clouds.  Interesting idea for a quilt.   http://dosainc.com/

That is fabulous lacework! I saw only the introduction, but love what I saw, and will watch the rest.

There is more information on the Olympics patchwork here: http://www.graphicart-news.com/the-olympic-patchwork-quilt-sochi-2014/#.Utn_YazTmpo including pictures of the Russian crafts depicted and their associated patches. Pretty cool!
