More work in progress from Elizabeth Busch workshop 10-23-14

Some of the students in Elizabeth Busch's workshop at Visions Art Museum last week have given permission to post their work in progress from the class.  Several more have said it is okay to post their work, so there will be another post or two from the class.

Deb Mackay is getting to be an expert at marbling fabric and brought some of her pieces to combine with the fabric she painted in the class.  She did six pieces in the class!

And this one has a printed fabric with fish printed fabric from Spoonflower.

Jeanne Surber did these three pieces that speak to me.  I don't know if she meant them to be a triptych, but they could work that way.

Andi Perejda pieced this from her painted fabrics.

Carol Sebastian-Neely with her two pieces on the design board.

You can see the texture she put in by manipulating the paint as she applied it to the canvas.

This one was painted with a mat with raised bumps under the canvas - it gives an interesting texture.

Wonderful work by all. I like very much the quality of color and textures that were obtained by the artists. A very successful workshop.
