Elizabeth Busch class final day 03-15-16

Our final day in class - 03-13-16 - we went around the room, talked about what we had done in class and had some critique from Elizabeth.  Some of the pictures are faded out on one side because the boards were against the windows and I couldn't do enough correction.

Viviana Lombrozo and her work.  The bottom piece is the quilt she brought to cut up and recreate.  She painted the fabrics for the top two pieces.

(Sorry about the angle I couldn't get it straight on - it is rectangular.)

Carol Neely, who was ill and missed two days of class,  and her work.  These are three paintings she did in class.

Del Thomas and her work.  Top left are the photo copies cut up and rearranged. The bottom left is a cut off version of "Red Fence", we'll call this one "Red Fence #2", it has only nine planks instead of 21.  The two on the right are combinations of the cuts from the original and painted pieces done in class.  "Red Fence #3" and "Red Fence #4"

Beth Smith with her work.  Only a sliver of the original in the piece on the right. But on the left, slices of the original stacked with borders .

Beth Smith in her colorful corner - even a pink sewing machine.

Nadine Rutman with her work.  A photocopy of the original quilt at top left.  Below it is her completed project with the red part from the original quilt and the green from painting she did in a previous Elizabeth Busch class.

Karen Crossland started out with a kimono that she made some years ago.  The motifs she used are from the sleeves of the original piece.  She painted part of the blue background.

Andrea Bacal did many paintings to everyone else's few.  Her completed project is the one in the middle on the left.
